Keflex is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration. Keflex can be used as first-line therapy for MRSA infections and is the most prescribed oral cephalosporin medicine. Patients taking other cephalosporin antibiotics can not take additional cephalosporin antibiotics as this is likely to result in an overdose.
